SPEED LIMIT INSIDE THE CAMPGROUND IS 5 MPH
General Check In Rules:
- All campers & guests MUST stop, register and pay fee to be issued a pass at the office BEFORE 7pm
- No golf carts
- Day guests must be off the property by 7 pm. Guests are NOT permitted to bring pets to the campground.
- Passes must be visibly displayed at all times while on the property.
- Check in begins at 12pm. After 7pm you must make arrangements prior to arriving.
- Check out is 11 am (Late check out fee is $15, after 1 pm is a full day charge)
- Must be 18 years old to reserve a campsite (must provide proof)
- Campsite holder is responsible for the conduct of everyone under 18 years old & is liable for any violations of the rules & regulations.
- All campers under 18 years old MUST be accompanied & supervised by the campsite holder.
- All campers will occupy & place equipment on assigned campsite ONLY, no more than 3 tents per site
- Any tent or other camping equipment left unoccupied for more than 48 hours may be taken down & forfeited
- The use of generators may be limited to no more than 5 hours per day and fall between the hours of 9am to 11 am and 4pm to 7pm daily. Must have permission from management. Violators of this policy will be evicted
- Only 4 occupants (4 people & 1 pet) may camp on one campsite and only 2 vehicles per campsite will be allowed. All campers’ names must be accurately reported upon check in. This policy will be strictly enforced.
- Only 2 vehicles are permitted per site, all others must park in the visitors lot located near the playground. In front of the office/Rec hall is NOT a visitors parking area.
- Appropriate language and acceptable clothing must be maintained at all times
- Use of leaf blowers, chainsaws, lawn mowers or other loud mechanical equipment are not permitted between Friday 4 pm through Monday 7am without consent of the campground manager.
- Washing RV's, campers, trailers, cars or trucks on campground property is prohibited.
Pets:
- Proof of valid rabies inoculation must be provided before any dog is allowed on campground premises (Rabies certificate or tag dated for current year are acceptable proof)
- Pets MUST be confined or leashed to restrict them to the campsite of the owner and are NOT permitted in the pool area, picnic area or in any building.
- Dogs cannot be left unattended. Excessive barking or vicious dogs must be removed from the campground.
- Dogs may be walked on a leash no longer than 6 feet, provided they are under control at all times.
- Dog owners must properly dispose of the animal's excrement in waste dumps.
Campfires:
- NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD IS ALLOWED ON GROUNDS. Firewood may be purchased at the campground store.
- All fires must be built in the fireplace provided on each site
- No fires shall be permitted except for cooking, warmth or snuggling.
- No fire shall be started until all nearby flammable material has been removed to prevent spread.
- Fires can not be left unattended
General Behavior:
- Quiet hours must be observed from 10pm to 7am
- No person under the age of 21 years of age shall possess alcoholic beverages (must be able to provide adequate proof of age upon request)
- All garbage shall be deposited in the designated dumpsters located around the campground. There is no campsite pick-up or curbside service.
- No obstructing vehicle or pedestrian traffic at any time
- No fighting or violent, tumultuous or threatening behavior; or engage in any other activity which violates the Penal Law.
- Firearms are not permitted on the property without consent.
- NO FIREWORKS
- Campers / visitors will not deface, remove, destroy or injure any living tree, flower, shrub, fern or other plant, rock, fossil or mineral found or growing on campground property.
- Campers / visitors will not remove, injure, deface, damage or destroy any structure or property of the campground including, but not limited to, picnic table, grill, fence, stone wall, monument or artifact.
- Campers and their guests will be held financially responsible for any damage to campground property and may be subject to legal action.
- Music / Noise is to be kept low so as to not disturb other campers.
- Walking on or through another campsite (occupied or not) without permission is not permitted.
- Spotlights or other lighting that creates a disturbance to other sites are not permitted.
- Bicycles, skateboards etc are not permitted in any building, left on the roadway or in the walking path.
- Korn’s Campground will not be responsible for loss or damage due to theft or for any accident or injury to persons or their property.
- All rented / borrowed equipment (bicycles, sports equipment etc.) MUST be returned to the office before 7 pm
Pool Rules:
No lifeguard on duty at Korn’s Campground. Orange County Department of Health requires 2 responsible adults in the pool area at all times.
- Pool is for registered camper ONLY
- Swimming in designated areas and is limited to the posted pool hours
- Possession of alcoholic beverages or glass containers at the pool is prohibited.
- No water toys, tubes or floating devices are permitted with the exception of Coast Guard approved flotation devices
Any person found to be in violation of these rules will be immediately removed from the campground and a penalty may be assessed. A refund will not be issued.
